Lola

Since the overwhelming success of her graduation collection for the prestigious fashion school, ESMOD, Lola Paltinger has been combining the themes of fashion and German traditional costume (known as “Tracht”) in her designs. She trained with Vivienne Westwood and H&M, then worked as a freelance designer for various Tracht and fashion brands, and as a styling expert on TV.
Since 1999, she has been running her own bespoke atelier with her mother, the couture dressmaker Brigitte Paltinger, and creating the Lollipop & Alpenrock, Happy Heidi and Himmelblau by Lola Paltinger ranges.

Bavarian Pop Couture

The name Lola Paltinger stands for an unmistakeable style that embodies tradition and pleasurable eccentricity in one. Her artistic perfection expresses itself in masterly styles of the most superior workmanship, worn by women of all ages, figures and types.

Lola Paltinger’s creations are inspired by the everyday customs and habits of people from different times and regions, as well as the Hollywood glamour of the 1930s/40s. While refreshingly down-to-earth and true-to-life on the one hand, her unique signature is reflected above all in the original choice and combination of opulent materials and magnificent details. Traditional Tracht materials, such as Schladminger and loden, are combined with her own material designs, embroidered organza, hand-painted glitter tulle, velvet, taffeta and elaborate sequin embroidery.

A carefree joie de vivre, a playful romanticism and a touch of humorously delirious drama are blended into an irresistible cocktail that puts people in the mood for emphasising their own femininity. There it is: that coquettish wink ... that famous “dash of Lola” which runs through all her collections like a golden thread.
